Melanie believes that camperships, which offset fees associated with Girl Scout Camp, are the most meaningful type of scholarship because Girl Scout Camp is where learning and life experiences happen and where girls find their community.
Melanie McNary served previously on the board for Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama. She has been the Vice President of Human Resources for the past five years at McLean Power Systems. She has been involved with a variety of organizations through board service to include AmFirst Federal Credit Union, Diane’s Heart, Voices for Alabama’s Children, and Laura Crandall Brown Foundation.
Melanie has been recognized as Top 50 over 50, with awards for Best in Minority Business and Black Achievers, and she served as a mentor for Momentum Leaders. She is currently a delegate as Ms. Senior Hoover in the Ms. Senior Alabama State Pageant.
