Recognizes registered adult members for active volunteer service at five-year intervals, starting at ten years through GSNCA.

Honors volunteers who provide outstanding service directly to girls or in support of the council’s mission delivery.

Recognizes exemplary service that has measurably improved one geographic area, helping the council achieve its goals.

Honors exemplary service that positively impacts two or more areas, advancing council mission-delivery goals and success.

Celebrates exceptional leadership and service that has made a measurable impact across the entire council or movement.

Honors a previous Thanks Badge recipient who continues to provide exceptional leadership and service benefiting all levels.

Recognizes a volunteer who steps up to fill a need at any time. Recipient must be a registered adult Girl Scout member.

Honors new volunteers (1–2 years) who lead with energy, use the GSLE, and participate in Service Unit meetings and activities.

Celebrates volunteers who consistently mentor others, share knowledge, and support new leaders with care and guidance.

Recognizes a long-time volunteer (5+ years) who assists troops, supports Service Unit or council events, and promotes Girl Scouting.
