Dr. Denise Yvette Mose
Huntsville, Alabama
“Seeing my niece, who is now 16, experience core fulfillments through Girl Scouting reminds me of my personal journey as a Girl Scout and inspires my support. My troop leaders were fun, silly, encouraging, and loved us… they ensured that we understood the value of Girl Scouting.”
Denise believes that travel is its own education and that there is nothing like seeing a place with your own eyes. Travel grants create once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that make a difference in the lives of Girl Scouts.
Dr. Denise Mose was a member of and volunteer for Girl Scouts of Citrus Council in Orlando, Florida. She is an educational global consultant, contract writer/T.V. host, author, and professor. She has been involved with numerous organizations through volunteer service to include American Black Women and Higher Education, Disney Dreamers Academy, Make A Wish Foundation, National Association of Black Journalists, and First Missionary Baptist Church.
Denise hosts an award-winning Spotify podcast, “Self-Discovery on Sunday with Dr. D,” and she has served as TED TALK speaker in Johannesburg, South Africa.
