Carol Covell

Carol believes that all types of Girl Scout scholarships are meaningful, especially those focused on assisting with membership fees, camperships fees, and travel expenses. These scholarships provide girls with opportunities to develop essential skills, including leadership and communication, while growing relationships with others.
Carol Covell was a member of Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina and a volunteer for Girl Scouts of North Alabama and Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama. She served on the Board for Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama for five years from 2015 to 2020, and she is now a Lifetime Member of Girl Scouts.
She works as the Deputy Department Manager in the Amentum Space Exploration Division, Spacecraft and Vehicle Systems for Amentum. She has received numerous awards and recognitions including Volunteer of the Year Award from her employer in 2013, NASA/Employer Achievement Awards, and Extra Miler Awards, among several others.
