Girls will explore leadership through hands-on sessions that build meaningful connections—with themselves, others, and their communities
The Girl Scout Leadership Summit is a signature event hosted each September by Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama at the Trussville Civic Center. Designed for Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors (grades 4–12), this inspiring all-day experience helps girls grow as leaders, innovators, and changemakers.
Each year, girls explore a powerful leadership theme through dynamic sessions led by local organizations and businesses. They hear from a keynote speaker—a distinguished woman in our community—and take part in hands-on workshops and educational activities. Attendees also enjoy our interactive Hall of Experiences, where they connect with colleges, nonprofits, recreational groups, and community partners offering exciting opportunities.
With their registration, each girl receives:
The Girl Scout Leadership Summit is made possible thanks to the generous support of corporate, community, and individual sponsors. Your sponsorship helps us:
Sponsors are recognized in the printed program, on our website, and through GSNCA social media channels.
The Hall of Experiences thrives thanks to dedicated volunteers and local partners. By participating, you introduce girls to new passions, opportunities, and career paths—insights they’ll take back to their families and friends. It’s a win-win for your organization and our girls.
