KPC is located in Chelsea, AL in Shelby County, it was established in 1976 and has 600 acres with a 45 acre lake and junior Olympic-sized swimming pool. There's mountain biking and a 35-foot climbing tower with attached high and low ropes course elements to offer you challenging and adventurous activities.

Units

Creek

Max Capacity: 60

Creek is a dorm style bunkhouse. It sleeps 6 people per room with 10 rooms in this unit. There is a full kitchen, meeting area, and bathroom in the unit. Cabins have electricity and are temperature controlled.

Chickasaw

Max Capacity: 40

Creek is a dorm style bunkhouse. It sleeps 4 people per room with 10 rooms in this unit. There is a full kitchen, meeting area, and bathroom in the unit. Cabins have electricity and are temperature controlled.

Choctaw

Max Capacity: 12

Choctaw consists of 3 cabins that sleep 4 each. The cabins have heat and air. There is access to a cookshelter specific to this unit and a bath house. These cabins also have electricity.

Conference Center

Max Capacity: 200

Cherokee Shelter

Cherokee is an open porch shelter half way up the hill to Creek. The porch holds several picnic tables and on the backside of the shelter has its own bathroom, including a shower.

Osonnee Shelter

Osonnee is an open porch shelter located along the main road in camp. The shelter has an enclosed kitchen area with a sink, preparation area, refrigerator, and ice machine. On the porch are several picnic takes and access to a grill.

Nature Hut

The nature hut is set up against the side of the lake, off the side of the conference center. The hut has an enclosed floor level that can be used for crafts and education about local wildlife, and has access to a dock on the lake. The second level is open air and covered which allows for a great view of the lake.
