​​​Ceramics:  Join us for our Ceramics Skills Class. Our class size is kept small, giving you one-on-one time with our skilled instructors and the ability to explore both throwing and hand building techniques. The class is suitable for all skill levels." Package of 3 classes $100. (2 hours each) Includes materials (clay and glazes) instruction on throwing and/or hand building techniques, bisque firing, glazing instruction, glaze firing. 12 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This class is open to ages 6 and up.  Welding: Join us at MAKEbhm to learn from metal artist Julie Carpenter to weld creatively with steel. Students will learn to weld the traditional way using an oxygen/acetylene fueled flame. The class will begin with learning best shop practices, how to bend and cut steel, and then students will design their own piece of functional or decorative art piece." $80 per person.This class is open to 12 and up.   Bookbinding (**GIRL SCOUT EXCLUSIVE // GROUP CLASS**): Learn how to create both soft and hardcover books using traditional bookbinding methods such as the Japanese stab binding and the coptic stitch. Students will also be able to create their own decorative papers for use in their books using the suminagashi, or floating ink, technique. All materials included. This class can help Caddettes earn a Book Artist Badge! Package of 3 classes (2.5 hours each) $175.   All classes are limited to 4-5 students and on a first come, first served basis.
