Girl Scouts sponsor two sale programs every year in order to support local troops and Councils to offer educational programs, volunteer training and continuous support to girls and the local communities they serve.

For over 70 years, Girl Scout Cookie Sale Programs have helped girls learn invaluable skills, such as decision-making, money management, and delivering on a promise. These activities are directly related to our mission of helping all girls realize their full potential and become strong, confident, and resourceful citizens. Each girl's participation in the cookie sale is voluntary. Most Girl Scouts enjoy the experience and look forward to taking part in these fun activities each year. Adults monitor, supervise, and guide the sale activities for all age levels, and girls always use the buddy system.

Benefits of Cookie Sale Program

The Cookie Sale Program affects every girl involved in Girl Scouting in one way or another. All of the proceeds generated stay in the North-Central Alabama Council to support Girl Scouting in our area. Proceeds earned are not the property of individual girls, some are distributed directly to the troop selling the products, and some according to a plan to benefit all girls involved in Girl Scouting through educational programs including community service projects and travel, camp facilities and outdoor programs, scholarship funds, council resources etc.

By planning and participating in the Cookie Sale Program, girls develop self-confidence by practicing valuable skills such as setting goals, teamwork, responsibility, decision making, working with the public, pitching a project, answering questions, accountability, safety.

Allergy Information - Fron Little Brownie Bakers

The top eight allergens that account for 90% of the food allergies in the US are peanuts, tree nuts, egg, cow's milk, wheat, soybean, fish and shellfish.

On each of our cookie packages, we label for the top 8 allergens directly below the ingredient statement on the Nutrition Facts side panel. For peanuts and tree nuts, we have chosen to include cautionary labeling in the form of a "may contain" statement. This indicates that the product shares processing equipment with another product that contains peanuts or tree nuts.

If the allergen in concern is not listed below the ingredient statement, we are confident that the product is safe for consumption.

Beyond the top eight allergens, all ingredients are declared within the ingredient statement. If you are concerned about a specific ingredient, please review the ingredient statement for the ingredient in question.

We do not take any risks with our consumer's health. You can always trust the label, which can be found here.
