The high ropes course is designed to teach participants that the more adventurous and undertaking, the more care and prudence necessary to achieve success safely. The high ropes experience obviously places participants in situations that are perceived more risky than are their regular daily lives. The goal is to make the increased risk manageable by preparing the participant to deal with the risk competently. ALL participants mush have previously participated in a low ropes workshop.
Low Ropes
Group Size: 8-15 participants
Price: $15/per person
Low ropes activities are designed to provide the foundation for group cooperation. The ropes course utilizes a progression of structured events and activities that require the group to work together to solve physical problems. The activities are designed to foster self-discovery, improve self-confidence, and encourage group problem solving and communication. The challenge by choice philosophy is incorporated into the program and allows participants to take part only in activities they feel comfortable with. As the group develops trust, support and cooperation, participants are encouraged to expand their comfort zone. Teamwork and communication are essential for the group to successfully complete the activities. Trained staff facilitators guide participants through discussion of the experience, focusing on personal behavior and group dynamics.
